Have been having 'peaceful' Saturdays. No hardcore outings, no social gatherings. Just a few cups of teh'o with some close friends. It is all well. Missing someone occasionally here and there. Oh well, the responsibilities still stand.

Indeed a recuperating time, after a week long of work, it is really good to just be at home and doing some banking chores. Just me. And the best news i have heard so far this week that THAIPUSAM, we all get a day off!! HAhahahha... Malaysia is indeed a country with a LOT of public holidays. Well, not to say i have any complaints...

A picture of the show that just ended. After the show ended, i kinda realised that stress can be a good thing. ok dei, my favourite Somerset Bay collection to end. Go check it out f you wanna get cheong sams. Its worth the look. :)

Pictures to compensate the pictureless entries i've written so far. Its nothing new, but i thought it'll add some colors to this almost dead place.

Its a GIF file, suppose to sway. Just like me.

THE GIRLS.

Mood.

The man, the feel. Perfect.

Little talents. Some kids are just easy to work with.

No. i'm not three months pregnant. Happy Bday CK.

Randomness. He doesn't even know. The Green man.

A foggy day. Or just denggue spraying thingie. Smells.

My first ever show with the new company.

There you go, not a very stimulating entry. Rather, a mundane, low cost ones. Need not brain cells. Love me, love me not.

Shallow me

Have been spending leisure time at home browsing through tele channels. I am in awe of the talents or rather upcoming musicians, groups, singers. Having the mentally that most of the singers out there is publicised mainly because of good looks. Singing? does it matter at all?

David Tao had a tough time coming out to the entertainment scene back then. Because of his looks, he had to stay at the back corner. Only voice was heard. Album cover's effect would even need to enhance till that extend that it covers his face. If not mistaken, it was a dark blue black shade of blue. It seems that they feared people would turn away . But nevertheless, his voice outshined, being one of the first to surface with chinese R&B. Well, in this case, he is not the only singer which the company feared that album sales would be a problem because of the outlook. Of course, packaging is a matter to consider too. Business.

We don't see the similar thing happening to Lee Hom. Talented and of course needless i say, goodlooking. No problemo. I mean, no offence but F4 can sing for nuts. Charming looks would definately score much higher.

As i was browsing, KBS frequently pops hourly showing concerts by korean groups, singers... the upcoming and not so upcoming ones too. I was suprised by not only the voice but the looks of korean singers. Lets put aside the typical small eye look of a korean. There are good looking smart ones too. SG Wannabe is one of it.

The korean group 'dong fang shen qi' that came to KL last year was a hit. From the outlook, they look like a group of cute boys getting together, knowing their dancing steps, and prolly just parading their good looks. You know, the usual. Suprise suprise, i don't know about you, but i am very suprised when i hear them sing. They are not only in tune when they sing live, but the harmonisation blew me away. Its rare.
and, it not that easy harmonising...

I need to scrape off the thought of associating good looks and out of tune. I am suprised too at the quality that people are looking more into than just the outward. But heck, if i can get goodlooking and a fantabulous voice in one package why not. Well, it just hit me that mmm... not everybody is as shallow as i am. :p

2008

Dear All,

It is already 2008. When we think about it, in two years time it'll be 2010. It was then, when 1999 turned 2000. I know, weird. But coming to think of it, it's really fast. Going to be in mid twenties. No more teens, no more early twenties.

25 may seem to some people as still young. But when we look back and ponder the 'young' times we had, its not going to change tremendously cause i am still me, you are still you but somehow, it'll be different. Beg to differ? old...older...

As the new year began to sunk into our faces, would tend to look at a new year with new things, new hairdo, whatever new you can get your hands on. Ah, importantly new year resolutions. I break mine every year, at a point, i stop resoluting.

Challenges are bound to happen. i mean, whats life without a mince of challenge here once in a while. I look forward to challenges which i can handle. hahahahaha... yah i know, sounds very very stupid. Irrational maybe.

Whatever is anticipating for you this year, whatever you anticipate for this year, i wish you all nothing but the best. As a few of you are out of the country persuing careers at another land, and some of you getting ready to vroom out of studying life, i wish you blessings in all that you do.

2008, the year of unpredictability. Haha, as all the years has been. With tons of love and peace... HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!
