A Day Off

Nothing can be better than this: A day off on a rainy Monday. It was pouring this morning and eventhough i heard the hustle of people outside starting their cars, opening their gates to go work, still, i lie lifeless underneath the warm sheets savoring my rare weekday off.

Its a pretty gloomy day today, didn't see much glaring sun today. But still, it's a great day to just lay back catch up with some personal matters. I should taking all my monday off. Hah! high chance.
The weekend was great. I never had this much fun since the singapore trip. It was just plain awesome chatting with some new funny friends over a few pints of beer, talking about almost everything and anything we can think of under the moon.

Do check out this new place in Ampang, Lorong Yap Kwan Seng, "Market Place". It's actually a bungalow lot, mixed homey cum restaurant feel. And because of where its located, the twin towers shines through the glass walls at night. If you wanna take your girlfriend to a romantic fine dining or some sort, with good ambience, good food. Try this place. Get a place at the balcony with a view of the Petronas twin towers.

Ooooooooooo.... so romantic kan. Homey feel. The upstairs spacious balcony got nicer view. A recommendable place for dinners, special functions, dates and parties. Go with your special someone and experience the ..... (bad marketing, but i damn lazy to think already)

Little Conversation

Technology now is getting canggih-er and changgih-er. From the no-cell phone to a can-die if cell phone is left at home kinda thing. Needless i say now, computers, internet and such.

I realised the other day that the younger generation now have more exposure to the canggih stuff as compared to when we were in primary school, we were still using the big square dunno what disk to save files. Now? Comes in tiny chips, and about 50 over ringgit for 1GB space.

Nowadays in school, kids are exposed to it lagilah. My bro, now 11 years old playin maple and some other online games, now even got own laptop.. apalah...

When i was at that age, i was reading (I do read wan ok!)most of the time or playing skateboard with my childhood friends, get bullied. Really, actually cannot really member what 11 year old do also those times... playing guli? thats like the super olden day isn't it...

My little bro nowadays, online, badminton, go school, go david's house, swimming, tuition, ermm... actually ar, pretty healthy lifestyle also la.. I tot wanna bash him being on line oh so frequent. Tak jadi. -_-

Nevermind, actually the point of this post is to post up a conversation that i think is super hillarious lah. The person is non other than my 11 year old bro. I *heart* him. So eyer but so adorably funny. Check out bro's nick and his noted and also his picture. HHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA....

AHAHHAHAAHHAHA.... priceless *tears tinkle down cheeks HAHAHAHAHAHA....

Must save and show his future wife and kids this conversation. Or maybe put it on slide show during his wedding if he doesn't pay me big big bucks... hahahhahaha.... Sabo him a bit..

I have been sick and tried staying at home just to rest but to no avail. WHEN i woke up this morning, saw myself in the mirror, *GOODNESS ME i look like some sick sumo wrestler NOT.. more like an inflamed penguine.. that sounds cuter haha..

My eyes looks as if there are little water baloons stucked underneath the skin and it's like i had botox job all over my face. Anyone up for watersuction?

Sickly weekend

Didn't have much rest even though i was on Mc. The throat inflammation, flu bug is in the air. It's irritating la.. but a good excuse to stay home :p

I contemplated whether i should go for the Stuff anniversary at Zouk or not... but i'm sick wor.. How la How la... at the end, aiya, just go la. So, i pulled Jo with me to just go support the guys.

Starters, it was drizzling and then it was waiting and more waiting and then, NO MORE GOODIE BAGS! (how can la...) !@#@!$#$^% , and then it was boring because the aunty beside us kept showing off her free stuff.. handphones la.. what not lah... So we left all in less than 90 minutes. Luckily got jockey service, or else vivi will be somewhere, i dunno where...

There flew Mr Friday nite, then Ms Saturday came and we went to visit Mr Curve at Damansara and watched the Matinee show of My Fair Lady. It was packed to the brim, people here, people there... RM 180 ticket... Eventhough tak payah bayar tapi, baik pergi aje kan...
Ah... the love story of Mr Higgins. Towards the end, Mr Higgins sang his "WHY CAN'T A WOMAN be more like a MAN" you can see some husbands turn to look at their spouse and give the cheeky smile most were noddy away. Isyk isyk... just imagine girls were like boys, my goodness how chaotic would the world be? The muscular scent, the chauvinistic-ness... So no-go man...

Big sister is coming back from Hawaii real soon! and i'm excited! well, not really la.. but lets just assume i am really excited! YAY!!
It's the monday blues. And it's only 9.30 in the morning. I felt as if i've worked a full day already. Today gonna be real rough.

I need a keropok refill!

It's a depressing week. Short-tempered. Sleepy. Getting some unecessary remarks. Foresee-ing the work pile rising beyond the norm. It's shitty i tell you. At least it's Thursday already. *Hang in there girls!!

Now, i look forward to watch My Fair Lady this Saturday courtesy of some sponsors :) (thanks!), AND... go home, surf through TV channels with a bag of my favourite KEROPOK by my side. Thats it man, there goes.. piling up pounds rather than sheading it all. Depressing.

Since tankiasu in the midst of blogging about food also got one, i also went and scouted for one! I'll end here, with my favourite baby.. Little Edrin..

kuci kuci...

OK. No more play. Back to work! *breathe in breathe out... -positive thinking-

Have a good weekend! Ta.

Still alive

Obviously, i'm still very much alive and living. I didn't do any snorkeling. The nearest i went into the sea was kayaking and sun tanning. So typical. But i've got my sets of excuses ready, wanna hear some defense? My period came, I don't swim, I'm terrified of sting ray, I don't want any sharks smelling blood and swim over.

If anyone would wanna visit Terengganu's Lang tengah,
"DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT GO TO LANG SARI RESORT"

go anywhere lah, camp outside ke or whereever (D'coconut is nice) but if you can avoid it altogether, jangan go to lang sari. I was grossed out when i stepped into the room's toilet. (loads of little scrammy shit lying on the toilet bowl, the sink, even on the bloody tissue holder)

The price for the room is unreasonable in comparison to the rooms or even the food we get. Ahh... must stop complaining. BUT can't blame the continous blaming, because of the inefficiency of the management, we missed the bus home. MISSED THE BUS OK!! The rest waited for 8 hours because the next bus-only 10 at night. A few of us chartered a car to send us back home much much earlier. The feeling back to KL have not been so sweet... When we saw Genting at the top, ....Ha-le-lu-yaaaaaaaa.....
Other than the filthy loos and rooms, the rest was all good. Made some new friends, got to know some better, and i learned to play three player mahjong! haha.. well, i still don't know how to play black jack or anything to do with cards.

7 hours bus journey, about 3 + hours waiting, 1 hour potential vomitting ferry ride, 5 mins boat ride. I've broked my own travelling record and after all the hours of travelling, i'm still in Malaysia. How cool.

Group photo

My new found friend while coming back to Terengganu in the ferry. He kept me company and offered me and aaron skittles. :) I like my new friend.
