The utmost tough task now in life is spending quality time. Taking for granted the leisure, the freeness of time management before. When its gone, felt the pinch. Human, i am. Always in such manner isn't it. Never learn from lesson.

It is saddening to actually realise the time flying by so fast, leaving not time to savor the moments. Late night chats becomes a ritual of just saying goodnights. Chatting becomes intense especially with time constraint. Social gatherings are like small business meetings. Everything is cut short. Short of quality of life.

The word quality of life made an impact in my life when i was working at Hospis Malaysia. It held an immense meaning towards it. When one goes through a life threatening illnesses, the importance of quality in ones life plays a tremendous part as a whole. Is it only when diagnosed with life limiting illness? An obvious answer to the question, i would assume.

Spending time. Quality time. Slipping through the fingers, worst when unknowingly. It dawned to me when the lunch is cut so short, leaving us no time to let time take its course. Never realised. Maybe, finally, it is part of growing up, part of maturing, part of stepping into the working world. Job's cool, but looses much. Worth it? I don't know.

Kiwanis Club Bukit Bandaraya Charity Event

During the weekend, attended an extraordinary charity event. All for a charitable cause. The theme or rather the basis of the event was MEN AUCTION. Only females are invited. I guess staff at souled out was having their fair share of fun and laughter too.

It goes like this, men were auction with services for the afternoon. Some were offering massages for the afternoon, some would be your chauffer for a day, some even come with tickets to Grand Prix with 'special' seating, Navy men with a day fishing on a yatch.. and a pilot who would be able to fly you to almost any destination.

A great idea for a charity event eh. Simply inteligent! But of course, it takes a lot of planning and 'volunteers' especially men who are willing to be auctioned. Well, i was not suprise there were no male asian up for auction. *slightly dissapointed Predictable

Well, just some pictures for your view...

wondering...

I wonder...

Do people still find it hard to wake up to go to work after 30 years of working?
I never got a direct answer.

Passion is all i hear about. Passionate about the work that you do. Would passion bring sufficient income. Some would. Would passion bring stability. Maybe. Heck, what is passion anyway. Passion... rest of my life. Geez, i think got something wrong with me la. Whenever i think its passion, i go into it, i get myself tensed up and feel like giving up.

Must persevere... til the end...Haha, like in some drama only... UUGHHH... must stand till the end....must...must... uugh... *dies

Mesra, Cepat Dan Betul

Sitting here on a Sunday evening at the nearest starbucks sipping a raspberry frap surfing the web. How else could I spend my last day before the start of the FIRST five day work tomorrow.

And as unbelievable as it may seem, I went for badminton. Let me repeat, BADMINTON. You know, the sport with shuttle cocks, racquets… running here and there, aim, hit the ball that comes anywhere into your part of the court. Yes, me did it. I played. Amazing. I am considering doing it weekly. Unbelievable? Believe it.

A short story- Car+Stolen=Police Station.

CHOI! No! its not my car.

So many things we take for granted. When its always available, we tend not to take much notice. But when its gone, we somehow realize how much we rely on the lost. But sometimes in the midst of business, it seems too little for our concern.

Alright. There. My weekly post of ramblings. Not very interesting or flowery. This week is a not very socially productive week, no participation at the BERSIH march petition thing or such. Mundane is me, me is mundane.

Voices for Hospices 2007

It seems like the month of fundraising. There are so many fundraising out there at this particular time. Year end, thats where people do bazaars, concerts, trying to tie in with corporate social responsibilities, meet needs, building funds.. i guess it got to do with festive season boiled in a frame.

FINALLY! BABY GRAND Production

Fundraising is not all fun. The sweat, hardwork and sacrifices are put in to make an event a success. Last night was the day for Voices for Hospices 2007. Sean Ghazi and Izlyn Ramli was just fantabulous. They were a harmonous pair, strong yet gentle, voices that entwined.. just so perfectly.

Mr. Seet and Puan Yati .. team.

My so called new phone with 3 megapixel was supposedly good. Obviously not. Its not even a little blur. Its sungguh the blur. Not even CSI could de-blur it.

Voices for Hospices 2007, it all came to an end last night, with memories that will always be cherished.

Theres more to write, so much to express, thoughts to be pinned down, burdens to unload. But untill theres more time, it will, eventually spill.

Next fundraising - This Wednesday, BCWA @ KL Hilton
