Ordinary or extraordinary

People with ordinary lives, ordinary looks, ordinary cars, having the extraordinary ordinaries, all have something unique and different to say. How do we justify ordinary or extraordinary? *Subjective. Theres no direct answer to it. Everybody has their own justification of being ordinary. Met randomly with an old high school friend (i perceived as an ordinary ah-beng) while 'mamak-ing' just a while ago, a few seconds later, i felt he was one of the extraordinary people. Talking about his life and his pagent relationships, counsellings, it's no where near me-ordinary. What is extraordinary then? super duper extraordinary? or just plain extraordinary? It amazes me sometimes... to actually be able to learn new insights (breaking the spell of presumptions) from people who we randomly meet. Everybody have a different story to tell.

My ordinary blurt for the day
Whenever your skin touches mine
It sends quiver through my spine
Looking into your eyes
I sense there’s more to find
So much more to learn about you
So much to discover

As your slim hand locked into mine
Silently, my mind went berserk
What should I do, How should I react.
Am I just thinking too much

My admiration for you seems too ancient and too childish to say
But I adore you just the way you are;
The mysterious smile on your face while your thoughts run wild,
Your endless surprises and bizarre ideas
The aura you bring with you, I admire.

Words are unable to justify
The sudden rattle of emotions and constant yearning
I’m trapped in this fairy tale
A tale with an unsure, unwritten ending

It's FRIDAY!!

Won't tell you which one we send for match making... hehehe (not a good picture but the ambience in this place is gewd, the dim, the lighting)

It has been ages since the girls played matchmaking. So, we did. This time round, it was fairly organised (i think it comes with age) Everybody acted as if it was just another gathering session. Obviously, we didn't make it 'that' obvious, after the guy arrived. He knew why he was there.. and maybe i am a bit ancient, but guys nowadays... whoaaaa... really know how to make the first move don't they. He came, tried to conquer, had to leave. hehehe...Eventhough no chemistry but I'm amazed (this may be the only time) this particular guy took the iniciative to know the girl instead having the horny look all the time and expected to be approach. Oh well, at least this guy had the genuine look.
It's hard to hook a friend up with a friend. Even if both of their characteristic would perfectly suit one another. At the end of the day, it's the chemistry that counts. No chemistry= no feel.
That aside, after the trying-to-matchmake session, we went for a cuppa tea at SS2 murni. We saw this huge meat balls. Went like : OH MY GOODNESS, look at the balls man, so huge.. Koki excitedly turned back and went Where? where? *getting really excited. YEAH YEAH YEAH, you thought ever in your wildest dreams getting a chance to openly see huge balls in mamak would be today huh. hmmm... huge spagetti meat balls only got lah!

Intelligent Conversation of the Teohs

Dad: got bread behind ah
Me: i don't eat rice and bread anymore, part of the diet plan.
Dad: -silence-
Me: just telling you lah
Dad: tomorrow while you waiting for your car, you can walk down to the shop, order curry fish head. Drink the curry, eat the fish lah.... *evil MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... while wacking his hand on the sofa...
Me: -_-

When i'm typing it out, it doesn't seem funny but oh well, my dad super-funnily-lame lah. Those who saw him would have witnessed his fun-ame. And today during lunch with Indra and Azr, i talked to dad on the phone. After the teleconversation, indra commented on how friend-like i and my dad talked. It got me thinking.... aaaa... Well, it ain't the first. It amazes me sometimes when i hear friend's relationships with their father, it's strictly authoritative father figure, prim and proper. Daddy still tells me to dress elegantly and will hide my short shorts and tells me that it's too short to wear out...still a daddy but he knows all my stories, the bads i have done and am doing, i'll come home at 12am and when he's still awake, he'll litsen to the babbles and little marbles i pick on that day especially on work. Am really glad and eventhough he is my dad-the-authority, he is my friend! I am soo blessed, very blessed.

From the eye-bag Princess

OOOooo..... Blue moon, having the... monday blues...

We wanna go... and sleep

Its all we want to do... lalala...

-- eye-bag Princess

Last night when i stepped into my room, "HELLO MOTO..." took up my phone and saw a msg from yling saying that she was sad and do i know 許瑋倫? Being someone who finds it ultimately hard to even delay gratification, i called her to get immediate clarification. I and yling go way back during college days watching chinese, korean sitcoms. This girl a regular in various taiwan sitcom actress passed away after an accident. Struggling to keep her breath, she survived two days coma before she took her last breath. She is 28 years old.

People dying has become a if not daily, maybe a weekly affair to me. Some i know, most i don't. Accident, or sudden death can lead to a devastation of emotional state. Nobody would expect, nobody could foresee it coming. Patients with life-threatening illness are aware of time, they know their time is short, they try to make full use of it, but do not know when time is up. Nobody knows when. It hit me sometimes to think of 'what ifs'. Nomatter what or how i think, still, answer won't surface. "WHEN LAH? OH GOD, TELL ME WHEN SO I CAN PLAN. "

The Quilanas

Met up with the Quilanas last night. This year, it's mostly about meeting people that i have not seen for a while. Meeting with stephen for the first time and joy after some time. i AM HAPPY for joy joy...From the time in Australia till date... it's kinda fairy tale like but i'm so sure that this time the script writer won't stop at "...and they live happily ever after..." *music fading out... *rolling out, cast names... hahahahaha...

Rant rant rant

Its rather a bore today in the office, people with foul moods, trying to keep datelines. AND i kena pulak have to go to this cheque presentation event in some noble restaurant. Yeeshh... and i have to go with me and myself. No go, no cheque. What man, wheres the damn honest sincerity and the heart of giving man... if i don't go doesn't mean you can't lick stamps and mail the damn thing to us. For the cheque, i have to go to somewhere i've never been and sit with a bunch of people i don't know and smile and look as if i'm having the time of my life receiving cheque which is not even mine.
So today, i replaced some of my gonna-waste time later with an entry.

Reggee the terror media woman and My fav Dr. F ....still single ooo... :p

(Mag H. Ellie, May, Azreen, Kak Yati)

Had a recent in-house annual dinner. The two 'mature' people in the picture have been my mentor since i started work. Helping me when i was the 'fresh-grad-with-chubby-face-with-no-make-up' a lot on the way, pushing me into deep ends. Somehow, meeting them at the pre-stage of my working life helped me to grow, learn to be humble and when people ask you to sweep shit, you just do it.. who know what gold you might find in that shit. OKok, the shit example is not that convincing but oh well... -- learing from pro in this environment is my priveledge man. I should be happy lah... go sit with a bunch of people i don't know and collect cheque also can lah, who know what gold i might find isn't it. *FINGERS CROSS.... *praying harder

I really think that i should save this post when i'm like a veteren, well established, have like a 2 million house or something... and like thank people that have helped me on the way to my success.. WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... dream may dream!!!

New year, new insights

CHING CHING CHING!!! This is my 40th post! Hows that for keeping up blogging. Bumped into Ken, my dear Penang cousin yesterday in midvalley. AND boy was i suprised to see him and the first few sentence he uttered was 'I got your blog from my sister'. WAaaaa.... erm... not to say i've got secrets but it's just amazing. *it's not all that hu-ha if you've got the blog add on msn. It's partly i don't see my paternal cousins that often, once every two or three years? mmmm....
Had super great fun today other than working so duper the overtime. Went to Singapore about two weeks back, met new friends and they came up to KL today!! It was great to see them again!! REALLY GREAT! Eventhough we have not really got to know one another but with a glass of wine, oooo... it helped great lot... hehe

The boys of the year!
Sometimes when you meet people, somehow things or conversations just clicked regardless on how long you know a person. The duration is not an issue at all. These great dudes gave me new insights eventhough we met up only for a few hours. Humans are not perfect but the unique-ness of every individual still facinates me ever. They just did.
I don't like studying. Hated high school, and things related to TEXT book. But somehow learning from people with real life experiences is entirely a different angle. Got soaked into people's life and sometimes gasp in awe of the 'differences' thought were a normality. Whats normal anyway. Strived hard to be different, but yearn to be normal. SO the redundant!

Today, somehow i want to learn. Want to learn to be calmer and more respectable than feared. The lesson today was priceless. Marc, if you see this. The bill is nothing compared to the insight you guys planted in me. Thanks. *BIG smuak
